DAT

The Dental Admission Test (DAT) can be taken by contacting the Dental Admission Testing Program (DAT) and requesting an application. The DAT is scored from 1-30, 30 being the highest combined score. The scores may be sent to five schools. To send your scores to additional schools it is a $10 fee/school. The DAT is computerized and available on a daily basis.

The DAT is the best indicator to compare students from different universities. Although grades are equally important, grading is subjective by the standards of individual colleges.
